I’m glad you’re here. I’m Emily Metz.
Here’s a little about me:
I played collegiate soccer and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition, as well as a Master’s in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. My professional journey includes serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the U.S. Naval Academy, where I worked with Women’s Soccer, Women’s Crew, Men’s Tennis, and Sailing. I now work as a Human Performance Specialist in New York City and have coached hundreds of individuals over the years.
I’m a certified Pre/Postnatal Specialist, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), USAW (USA Weightlifting), and FMS (Functional Movement Screen) practitioner. These credentials reflect my commitment to evidence-based training and holistic performance.
I specialize in training for all — from athletes and high performers to those recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or simply looking to move and feel better at any age. Whether you're in your competitive prime, rebuilding strength after a setback, or embracing movement later in life, my programs are rooted in science and tailored to meet you where you are.
I hold myself and those I work with to a gold standard. My goal is to help you train with intention, building strength, power, resilience, and confidence along the way.
